Sweet Graffiti

Austin, Texas, joyously and famously WEIRD, has an interesting, educated, creative, diverse populace, a very lively arts community, and undeniable geographic beauty. An oasis, Austin is an island of political blue and environmental green in a vast sea of Texas red.

Crestview , a modest but unusually pleasant neighborhood in north-central Austin, is one of the most Austintacious* places in Austin. ("Austintatious" is a good* thing!) You can just tell that folks are grateful to be here, even though it's nothing fancy. When you smile and wave at any stranger here, at least 99.9% will smile and wave back. Now that's friendly! And despite almost zero police presence, we're mostly blessedly free of vandalism and graffiti compared to every other neighborhood in Austin....
but once in awhile, there is a bit of graffiti.

above, Follow your heart. (Or somebody's...)
Happily, graffiti is relatively rare here, and when the 'hood does get tagged, sometimes it's kinda sweet!
I don't know what "The Cookies Rock" means, other than maybe like a literal appreciation of Oreos; are "The Cookies" a local band? Or is it just a Girl Scout thing? (It is cookie season.) Regardless, it's one of the friendliest, least-threatening graffiti I've seen since "Kilroy was here".
